Kevin Robbins
The road of successful leadership is rarely a straightforward one. Kevin has been a pioneer in many respects. He has been a wilderness guide, hunter, fisherman and trapper for sustained living while growing up in northern Canada. With a master’s degree from Tyndale University and 35 years of leadership experience in ministry and the non-profit sector, he utilizes a distinctive understanding about nature and the connectivity of humans and the environment. He shares a unique approach to bringing out the best in leaders; inspiring people to be better and compelling them to live lives of significance, meaning and joy.

Marcus Engel, M.S, CSP, CPXP
Marcus Engel, M.S., CSP, CPXP is a Certified Speaking Professional & author whose messages provide insight and strategies for excellent patient care. His keynote presentation has been witnessed by tens of thousands of healthcare professionals and his books are used in scores of nursing and allied health programs to teach the basic foundations of caregiving.
As a college freshman, Marcus Engel was blinded and nearly killed after being struck by a drunk driver. Through two years of rehab, over 350 hours of reconstructive facial surgery and adaptation through a multitude of life changes, Marcus witnessed the good, the bad and the profound in patient care.
He has authored four books and is at work on a fifth, “Beyond Patient Experience” which is due out shortly.
Marcus and his wife, Marvelyne, are the co-founders of the I’m Here Movement, a 501(c)3, which is changing the culture of care with two simple words. Marcus holds a B.S. in sociology from Missouri State University (2000) and a M.S. in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University in New York City (2012.) He lives in Orlando, Florida with Marvelyne and his Seeing Eye dog, Elliott.
Mark Black
Our speaker today was only 24 when he found himself lying in a hospital bed clinging to life, praying for a life-saving heart and double-lung transplant. Three short years later, he became the only man in history to complete a marathon with someone else’s heart and lungs. Then he did it three more times.
He has spoken to more than 150,000 people in more than 500 presentations. His book titled, “Live Life from the Heart” has helped thousands more. Mark doesn’t just run marathons. He also runs errands for his wife. He sometimes runs late. He occasionally runs wild. Mostly, he runs after his three young kids, Emma, Matteo and Caleb.
Orlando Bowen
For the past fifteen years, Orlando Bowen has used storytelling, fitness activities, and cognitive exercises to teach resilience, leadership, and teamwork to hundreds of thousands of people. Empowering others to overcome adversity, to find their passion, and to use their gifts is his lifelong goal. This mission has placed him on hundreds of stages and boardrooms throughout North and South America.
Leadership is a passion of his and through that passion, Bowen serves as the founder and executive Director of One Voice One Team Youth Leadership, a 501 ©3 that empowers youth to utilize leadership skills and talents to better themselves and their community. He is a former professional athlete, community champion and has received local and national awards for his incredible work and community contributions. He has a very special connection to the health care profession and will share some of that in his messaging today.
